Responsible
Entity
The Huntley Group holds an Australian Financial Services Licence and
acts as the Responsible Entity for managed investment schemes providing
promoters with relief from the requirement to develop and operate investors'
protection systems. Promoters and originators of projects are able to
access these RE services while at the same time maintaining an operational
role in the project.
Custodian
For the protection of investors, many promoters of managed investment
projects choose to use the services of an independent custodian to hold
their assets of the scheme separately for the protection of private
investors. The Huntley Group performs this role for a variety of projects
including property, financial, resource and agribusiness projects.
Trustee/Representative
For projects that are covered by the prescribed interest scheme provisions,
The Huntley Group acts as trustee/representative. We are also able to
assist with the transition of such projects to conform with the managed
investments regime.
Advisory/Compliance
The directors and officers of The Huntley Group are available to consult
with the promoters and operators of projects on structural, marketing
and administrative services. We can provide essential advice on compliance
and governance matters for projects including the provision of Compliance
Committee officers and members.
